What is Dead Sea Salt?

The Dead Sea is located between Jordan and Israel, about 400m below sea level, and its shores are the
lowest elevation on land in the world.

The Dead Sea is called the “Dead Sea” because salt and mineral concentrations are about 8 to 10 times higher than normal seawater, and creatures or plants are unable to live there. In the summer when the
temperature rises to 50 degrees, columns of salt naturally occur and salt floats on the water.

Dead Sea Salt is a highly concentrated mineral salt and contains 21 natural minerals, 12 of which cannot be found in ordinary seawater.
